Genietta Varsi investigates, from a scultural perspective, how matter (bodies) shape and transform the environment with their behaviors and viceversa. Varsi Works with multidisciplinary methodologies and tools combining art, medicine, biochemistry, ecology, mechanics and anthropology to think and unthink the use of the body in the day-to-day.

Varsi studied sculpture at the Faculty of Art and Design of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. She has developed plastic and theoretical research at the Uberbau_House and FAAP Artistic Residency residencies in Sâo Paulo, Brazil, at the Emergency Laboratory, COVID-19 (Interactive) Silo Arte e Latitude Rural, Brazil, in Molten Capital at the Museum of Contemporary Art- Quinta Normal de Santiago de Chile and won the Artus scholarship for the Delfina Foundation in London, England.
